Tide Mill
flood

Hopefully this project won't be repeated again soon!

Documenting the very high tide on the River Deben in December 2013.

The 'perfect' conditions were present, low pressure over the Deben, high pressure over the North Sea, Northerly winds and a high forecasted tide... The water level reached 5.4m over the bar (usual high water is 3.6m)

Images were shot 10mins either side of mean high water using a tripod and long esposures.
